Cargo Joy

Cargo Joy privacy policy

Effective date: 12 September 2026

Who we are

Cargo Joy is provided by PLINK VALE GAMES CO LTD (company number 17442047).

For a privacy question or request, email plinkvalegames@gmail.com.

What this information covers

This policy covers this Cargo Joy test version, the information it keeps on your device, optional problem reports, and contact with support. It also explains your choices and privacy rights.

Cargo Joy does not require a Cargo Joy player account or sign-in.

Information kept on your device

Cargo Joy keeps information needed to run the game and remember your choices. This may include:

Cargo Joy does not operate its own cloud save. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it may remove local game data. Android may handle app backup or device-to-device transfer according to the device, Android version, transfer method and Google account settings. A copy of a report saved or shared elsewhere may remain in that location until it is removed there.

Age choice and offline play

On first launch, you choose an age range or Play without online extras. Cargo Joy does not ask you to enter a date of birth or email address for this choice. Core puzzle play remains available when online extras are unavailable.

Online features in this test version

This test version is configured for offline play, with advertising, purchases and online services disabled.

If you email support or choose to share a report with us, that information is handled as described below.

Creating a local problem report

Cargo Joy includes an optional local problem-report feature. If you use it, the game can prepare a report from technical and gameplay information held by the app, together with comments and steps you enter. The report may include the game and build version, device and Android details, screen and memory information, the current level and puzzle state, accessibility and audio settings, a bounded trace of recent gameplay actions, and exception summaries.

Filtering is designed to remove common sensitive patterns, but it may miss personal details. Check your comments and steps before saving. Review a saved file for personal or sensitive information before choosing to share it with support.

Remote problem-report submission is disabled in this test version. When a report is saved, it is stored in the game's app folder on your device. Saving does not send it to us. If you choose to share report information with support, we handle it as support information below.

When you email support

A support email contains your email address, your message and any attachment you choose to send. PLINK VALE GAMES CO LTD uses that information to answer your request, investigate the issue and handle relevant follow-up. It is not used for advertising.

Before sending a message or attachment, check it and remove personal or sensitive information that is not needed. Do not send passwords, card details, purchase tokens or private access codes.

Why we use support information

We use your support information because we have a legitimate interest in answering questions, resolving reported problems and improving the game through non-identifying bug findings. We use only information that is relevant to those purposes. We do not use support correspondence for marketing or profile enrichment.

Contacting support is voluntary. If you do not provide enough relevant information, we may be unable to resolve your enquiry. Sending an email does not give blanket consent for unrelated uses.

We handle statutory privacy requests and privacy complaints to meet our legal obligations.

Who receives support information and international transfers

PLINK VALE GAMES CO LTD decides why and how support correspondence is used for the purposes above. We use Gmail, provided by Google LLC in the United States, to receive, store and send that correspondence.

The support mailbox is an ordinary consumer Gmail account. Google states that consumer Gmail is not a processor service and does not offer a data processing agreement for it; Google’s own terms and Privacy Policy apply. Google processes information for its own service purposes as described in that policy.

Google processes information internationally, including in the United States. Google LLC is currently an active participant in the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for non-HR data. Google explains its current data-transfer frameworks. We may also disclose relevant information where the law requires us to do so.

Security

Company access to support correspondence is limited to the sole support operator and controlled through the support account. Access to downloaded support files is restricted. Support messages are reviewed at least weekly, and privacy requests are identified separately so they can be handled promptly.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Please send only the information needed for your request.

How long information is kept

Local game data and report files remain on your device until you, the app or Android remove them. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the game may remove this information, subject to Android backup and transfer behaviour. A copy you save or share elsewhere may remain there until it is removed from that location.

Routine support messages and downloaded attachments are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed and no later than 90 days after the request is resolved. Unnecessary sensitive attachments are deleted sooner. Information may be kept longer only when a documented, specific continuing dispute or legal requirement makes that necessary.

Useful technical findings may be retained without the sender’s personal details.

We keep a minimal record of privacy requests and complaints only while it is needed to demonstrate proper handling, resolve a complaint or meet a legal obligation. We review that record regularly and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Our deletion covers the support copies we control, including relevant messages, sent or quoted copies and downloaded attachments. Google’s backup and infrastructure deletion processes may continue after our own deletion. Google explains its retention and deletion process, so we do not promise immediate deletion from every provider backup.

Your choices and rights

You choose whether to create a local problem report, whether to provide it to support and whether to email support. Information held only on your device may not be available to PLINK VALE GAMES CO LTD or linkable to an email request.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some rights are qualified and may not apply in every situation.

Email plinkvalegames@gmail.com with a privacy question or request. Privacy requests are dated and handled promptly. An access request is normally answered within one calendar month.

Your right to object

You may object to our use of your support information where it is based on our legitimate interests. Email plinkvalegames@gmail.com and explain your concern. We will consider your circumstances and stop that use unless there are compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the information is needed for legal claims.

If you are unhappy with how a privacy concern is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/data-protection-complaints/

Changes to this information

This information will be reviewed when Cargo Joy’s actual practices change, including before an update enables a new online service or data path.
